Working with Kelsey and Zeke was a pleasure from start to finish! Their romantic, springtime black-tie Angus Barn wedding was magical. It was a treat to combine the semi-custom Shuler Studio collection and Classic Invitations and stationery items for their special day. I love working with clients to tweak the semi-custom suites and make them their own! With blush pink, neutrals, gold, and black, Kelsey and Zeke commissioned a new watercolor painting of The Angus Barn to add to their suite and day-of items. With the Classic Suite as a base, they decided to commission a new venue illustration. We also added a Shuler Studio handpainted duogram as their signature crest for the big day. I’m happy to mix and match various elements in the collections for clients to make things just right. With the venue illustration and floral elements as their envelope liner, it was a sweet and romantic touch to share with their guests as they opened their much-anticipated invitations for this Angus Barn wedding!
Customizing Their Angus Barn Wedding
On the big day, the same illustration greeted guests letting them know they’d finally arrived. We used a 24×36 rigid welcome sign that was set upon an easel. From there, their custom handpainted Shuler Studio duogram adorned their bar from CE Rentals as adhesive decals. The beautiful circular floral installation hanging above the bars was such a fun way to make a grand statement in the space. The bar details didn’t stop there, however. When guests were ready to swap from frosted cups to cans, we dressed up the collection’s koozies with their duogram as well. Plus, cocktail napkins with foil duogram kept it all consistent.
Additionally, the dance floor had a custom wrap with their duagram – it was gorgeous. That’s the beauty of the semi-custom collections.
