a North Carolina-based

portrait & Stationery artist

I believe every love story is truly a work of art, made up of tiny details that mean the world to you both. I believe in turning those details into something tangible and beautiful; something you’ll love to look at for a lifetime. As a watercolor portrait artist, I create affordable, heirloom-worthy paintings and stationery that you’ll pass down for generations, without the stress or intimidation that “commissioning artwork” might seem to come with.

During countless hours of experience with hundreds of happy clients, I’ve developed a custom process that has received only 5-star reviews. Whether I’m recreating a client’s grandmother’s wedding bouquet with watercolor from a sepia-toned photograph or painting live at weddings, my clients unique story shines through and stands out. No matter what your vision looks like, I can’t wait to bring it to life with vivid color and beautiful brushstrokes.

Words cannot describe how I feel about my new artwork… I opened up the box & was moved to tears.

I grew up in North Carolina with a love for the beauty of the world around me.

That love of God’s creation led to me pursuing an environmental degree from NC State. After graduation, I was working for UNC Chapel Hill and using a lot of design skills to educate others on environmental issues. Designing and creating became a new skill I loved working on day and night. In the meantime, I was at home taking one watercolor course after another. While my love for the environment definitely did not diminish, the joy I felt from art and design only grew. After my husband and I relocated to Clayton and the drive to Chapel Hill became longer (read: an I-40 nightmare) day in and day out, I took the leap to turn my creative passion into a full time business.

Meanwhile, our love of travel has taken us everywhere from the beaches of Southern Italy to the Northern Dolomites, the Alps of Switzerland, the valleys of Peru and I’ve happily painted them all along the way. Now that I’m a mom, I strive every day to slow down, soak in the smallest moments, and share my love of this beautiful world with our daughter.

The beauty of this precious life fuels me, and drives me to help others find ways to express their gratitude for their own beautiful lives and stories.

If you’re looking for artwork that’s illustrative, soft and emotive, plus a client experience that’s as easy as checking into a five star hotel, you’re in the right place.

I value taking the time to get to know each client that I work with so that I can best tell the story of their lives through artwork. Get ready to fill your walls and envelopes with artwork that makes you smile for years to come.
