Today’s real wedding blog post features such a sweet couple, Kathryn and Evan. They got married in late spring over Memorial Day weekend at the beautiful Barn of Chapel Hill. Their white and blue wedding gave the slightest hint of “Carolina” vibes, which was totally fitting based on their venue location! We had so much fun putting personal touches on their invitation suite from my venue collection. I’m loving the classic simplicity of this suite, and I think it really helped lay the groundwork for their elegant and classic white and blue wedding.
While Kathryn was an absolute stunner in her white wedding gown, her bridesmaids wore the softest shade of pale blue. I’m not sure what could be more Carolina than that! How gorgeous are the soft and romantic bouquets paired with their dresses? And of course the gentlemen were the epitome of dapper in their navy suits.
Aside from their white and blue wedding invitation suite, I had the opportunity to create some fun day-of items. My watercolor painting of the barn was the main character of this design, as we used it in quite a few places. The first place guests were able to see the painting was on the envelope liner and details card of their suite. We also used the graphic on the welcome sign, the bar, and the dinner menus. I helped design their seating chart display, table numbers, and escort cards. We kept the design minimal for this simple white and blue wedding. I hope you enjoy these stunning images from Ally and Bobby Photography!
