When did your venue first open?
The Bradford opened in 2015 so we are coming up on 6 years! Throughout that time we have hosted countless weddings and expanded our offerings to accommodate the modern couple.
What do couples love most about your venue?
What couples love most about The Bradford is the amount of variety that can be incorporated in their wedding album. Our expansive property boasts ample room and options for beautiful photographs so our couples often end the wedding day with photos from all over the grounds.
Do you have any significant memories or stories about a particular client and what your venue meant to them?
Our Sales Director, Molly Fields, attended her very best friend’s wedding this past May. Of course, since it was still at the height of COVID, there were guest count restrictions in place that dwindled their wedding down to a group of ten. With the majority of guests as close family, Molly was delighted to be included in the special day! The wedding was stunning with a ceremony on the terrace and an intimate dinner for guests in the main house, everyone had an amazing time and the pictures that the couple got to spend the majority of the day taking turned out incredibly! It just goes to show you that with a guest count of 10 or 250, The Bradford makes for the perfect backdrop for your special day.
Tell me about your favorite spot at The Bradford – what couples can’t miss!
My hands-down favorite spot at The Bradford is our terrace. Nestled between the house and our ballrooms, it is the perfect meeting ground for guests to mingle throughout the cocktail hour or pop out to after tearing it up on the dance floor. With the market lights overhead, guests will be enchanted by the serenity that can be found mere steps from our elegant ballrooms.
What’s one unique way you’ve seen your venue set up that you loved?
We recently hosted a photoshoot with a team from the mountain region of North Carolina and for the shoot, they staged the ceremony on the left side of our front garden area. We have never seen a ceremony in this location of the property so we were surprised when the pictures turned out incredibly! It really centered the house as the backdrop for the affair which was definitely unique and a great way to showcase the house facade that we are so well known for.
What’s one unique feature that you feel is really valuable for your couples?
Something unique that The Bradford offers to our couples is the option to stay overnight. We have many different packages that allow for up to 16 people to stay overnight either the night before the wedding which also then offers the option to host the rehearsal dinner onsite or stay the night of the wedding and check-out the next morning (or both)!
What one piece of advice would you give to a couple considering booking your venue?
I always recommend that couples spend some time looking into the different companies featured on our exclusive planning and catering lists. We ask couples to choose a planner and caterer from these lists as we have found that to be the greatest way to have a stress-free and beautiful wedding day!
