Proof that Personalized Wedding Details Can Set Your Day Apart
Kerry and Daniel’s wedding at The Carolina Inn was a day-of stationery detail-focused dream! Kerry actually works for the Carolina Inn as an event planner, so this was extra special! She’s usually ensuring everyone’s day goes perfectly to plan while seeing tons of pretty weddings. So, that meant she knew exactly what matters when it comes to making your actual wedding day uniquely you! This beautiful couple celebrated with their loved ones and brought the party to life with special details like custom frosted cups, cocktail napkins, signature drink signs and one of the most fun champagne walls I’ve seen! This Carolina Inn wedding was a showstopper!
Welcome to The Party
Their welcome sign featured the couple’s duogram and their wedding flowers, all hand painted. And naturally, it was Carolina blue. This sign was 18×24 and printed on foam board. This is an affordable and great way to create self-displaying signage that doesn’t need a frame or mounting.
Pup Inspired Champagne Wall
Once guests witnessed the couples exchange vows, it was time to head to the cocktail hour. A gorgeous champagne wall with a neon sign greeted them there! Each champagne glass was topped with an escort card and the sweet faces of their two pups, Gunner and Buie that we had previously painted to use on their stationery!
At the Bar
No bar is complete without some signage to help guests know what’s available to them – and their Signature Drink sign is a great example of personalized details. All of their friends refer to Daniel as “Fox”, and it being their newlywed last name, their signature drinks made a nod to each of their pups, and, The Fox himself! This sign was also printed on a foamcore board for easy display.
Guests were also excited to see the couple’s duogram and wedding crest on their cups (which doubled as fun favors) and cocktail napkins! Consistency is key, and the bar area totally rocked it. We can’t forget to mention the pretty signage and display of those cups that vita Melie had going on! Of course, everything looks adorable and chic on that little bar truck!
A Memorable Welcome
Finally, I’d kick myself if I didn’t share one of my absolute favorite parts of their wedding celebration – their wedding weekend watercolor maps and welcome card! This gatefold-style card featured the couple’s crest on the front, and when open, a timeline of events plus hand-painted versions of the couple’s favorite spots to visit were included inside! Watercolor paintings of He’s Not Here, Dead Mule Club, Sutton’s Drugstore and the Old Well all made an appearance.
I hope you enjoyed seeing all of the ways customized day-of items can really make your wedding stand apart. If you’d like to see another Carolina Inn wedding, click here!
