As a North Carolina girl, I am a sucker for southern weddings. If you ask me, nothing says southern charm quite like Pinehurst, NC. This quaint golf town was the perfect backdrop for Tessa and Sam’s spring wedding. Their ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Country Club of North Carolina.

This spring wedding did not lack in color and elegance. The venue was filled to the brim with wildflowers and colorful spring hues, an artists dream! Everywhere you looked you were sure to find beauty and enticing details. I had such fun creating handpainted floral embelishments and a monogram for their invitation suite. We used these features throughout the paper goods which kept a cohesive look for their wedding day. Tessa and Sam are book lovers through and through so we thought we’d implement that into their big day. As such, we brought in an element of their love of literature into their wedding day details. In the photo of their entire suite, you’ll see their save the dates were beautiful bookmarks guests could use in their own reading time. So clever and personal. I loved it so much!

Creating a Cohesive Look for this Spring Wedding

Before the ceremony, guests were greeted but a gorgeous floral display welcome sign. The color scheme of the flowers set the tone for the rest of this spring wedding. These flowers displayed every color of the rainbow, they were gorgeous! For their programs, they opted for something practical as well as impactful – custom fans! Guests enjoyed fanning themselves under the ceremony tent while also looking at the order of ceremony events.

Next, guests were escorted to a stunning reception space. We did our best to be sure the delightful details continued. The reception signage included their custom monogram and floral accents to tie their aesthetic together. At each guest table, we custom-made their table numbers by hand with vintage books. I personally think these turned out absolutely adorable. In conclusion, Tessa and Sam’s spring wedding at the Country Club of North Carolina was as vibrant as it was charming. Truly, this wedding was “one for the books”. I’m grateful for the clients who allow me to turn their wedding dreams into a beautiful reality!
